Epic Live
''Epic Live'' (stylized as ''EPIC LIVE!'') is a 2010 live album released by Globus of Immediate Music consisting of performances at Wembley Grand Hall in London in 2006 and Broad Stage in Santa Monica, California, when Globus played as part of the Trailer Music Live concert in 2009. The majority of the songs that played are from the Epicon album that was released in 2006 with the 120 piece orchestral/choral/rock ensemble in London. ==Background== After the London show in 2006, Globus’ award-winning composer and producer Yoav Goren was besieged with further requests for live performances. The next show took place at the brand new Broad Stage in Santa Monica, California, when Globus played as part of the ''Trailer Music Live'' concert. After Globus’ hit single ''Orchard of Mines'' enjoyed a 4 month run on ''Billboard''’s Hot Singles Sales charts in the spring of 2009, peaking at #12, the group was ready to play to a host of new, young fans who had enthusiastically trumpeted Globus through the various social media websites. The show in Santa Monica quickly sold out. ''Epic Live'' contains rousing live renditions of perennial Globus favorites ''Preliator'' and ''Diem Ex Dei'' - 2 songs featured in a dozen Hollywood films since 2004. Also on “Epic Live”, Globus sneaks a peak at ''Wyatt Earth'' - the forthcoming single off the Break From This World album that was released in 2011. John Sutton, orchestra and choir conductor for the band, perhaps best describes the live Globus experience:〔http://media.wix.com/ugd/640f5e_8a07475f8dce1b2f4d0f58540bb7d39a.pdf〕
